They take care of products from the raw material stage to the sale as an end product to the clients. Applicants for Supply Chain Manager jobs are required to have a Bachelor´s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management. It is also recommended to have a postgraduate training and internship programs in order to experience processes and pressures related to this industry. Those who want to have better job opportunities and work at higher level positions can obtain a Master of Business Administration in Business with Supply Chain specialization. That program includes supply chain coursework such as operations research, logistics management, sourcing, and marketing. Certifications are not compulsory but they enhance professionals´ credentials. Among these qualifications are the Certification in Production and Inventory Management, and the Certified Purchasing Manager certification.
