These qualifications can be in Statistics, Business, Accounting, and Math. It is also recommended to have related work experience such as credit application processing, accounting, or accounts receivable. Many workers on this area have a Master in Business Administration in Finance due to the subjects offered in that course, including financial statement analysis, statistics, finance, ratio analysis, among others.

A recommendation for people working on this industry is to have a Chartered Financial Analyst Certification offered by the CFA, because various companies have this qualification as a mandatory requirement for application processes.
