Business Development Executives are directly responsible for growing the business through acquiring new clientele. They work in many different industries and are often involved with sales and marketing departments.

These professionals have the scope of earning very large sums. This will be dictated by the company’s products, services, size, location and clientele. They may also be known as Account Strategists or Senior Managers.

A Business Development Executive usually performs many of the following tasks:

• Preparing reports
• Interacting with customers
• Gaining new clients
• Attending meetings
• Communicating with management and executives
• Going to trade shows and other events

Candidates with MBAs and Masters Degrees have a great advantage in the job market.
