Production Assistants are responsible for assisting the production supervisors and monitoring program schedules. They are also required to load and unload material from conveyors and machines and perform simple assembly tasks. These workers help in the quality control process and solve technical problems related to all activities on the floor. In cases of breakdown, they need to report that case to higher authorities, such as production managers and operations directors.

Production Assistants usually perform many of the following tasks:
• Examining products.
• Observing the operation of machines.
• Maintaining cleanliness.
• Monitoring measurement specifications.
• Unloading materials from conveyors.

Most employers demand applicants having relevant work experience in the same field.
