    What is minimum education required to work as a nursing home administrator?

    • Hello I think that it requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration.

        • I guess but if you want to raise your possibilities of getting the job I recommend you to invest in a master’s degree since most long-term care administrators have that degree.

    • Hi I recommend you to check the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) website. It has helped me a lot in this terms. There you can find the lists of qualifying programs by State.

    • Hello everyone, yes I agree with Ashley since science masters in health administration focus on financial affair related to healthcare including health law, business, medical statistics, marketing, leadership and management skills. So it’s worth it if you are looking for a long term job.

    • I don’t know but what I do know is that in some states you need to pass a state accredited exam for your license after internship. I know because my sister did it.
