Medical Receptionist

Medical Receptionists are required to greet patients and medical sales representatives on the telephone and in person. They also solve scheduling conflicts and verify appointments. They are a bridge between medical testing facilities, vendors, hospitals, physicians, and insurance companies. These workers usually create spreadsheets and memos in order to maintain databases about the information of patients. They may work for a group of physicians in a health care clinic or for a private practice doctor.

Medical Receptionists usually perform many of the following tasks:
• Preparing patient´s medical bills.
• Maintaining staff attendance records.
• Answering phone calls.
• Collecting payments.
• Sending emails to the clients.
