Financial Reporting Managers conduct various accounting and auditing responsibilities. They are highly technical, experts in financial reporting and managers of accounting operations. Managers liaise and coordinate the activities between in-house staff and outside auditors.
A Financial Reporting Manager performs many of the following tasks:
• Preparing financial reports
• Analysing budgets
• Approving expenditure
• Enforcing financial strategies
• Reviewing processes
• Dealing with external auditors
• Adhering to SOX, US GAAP and ISO regulations
• Resolving accounting problems
• Managing financial statements
