Urban Planner

Urban Planners are required to develop plans for the use of land and revitalization of urban zones. They help local officials to solve economic, environmental, and social issues by recommending locations for schools, roads, hospitals and other structures. Their duties are based on people’s needs and how construction projects may affect their lifestyle.

Urban Planners usually perform many of the following tasks:

• Making decisions about developing resources.
• Teaming up with other professionals.
• Formulating plans.
