Dental Hygienists are responsible for removing hard and soft deposits from teeth and teaching how to practice good oral hygiene to patients. There are dental hygiene programs that require applicants having at least a complete year of college. Most private dental offices offer practices to candidates having a Certificate or Associate´s Degree in Dental Hygiene.
