Applicants for Pharmacist job placements are required to have a Pharmacy Degree from a School of Pharmacy or an Accredited College. Students who want to enter to these programs need to have 2 years of pre-requisites, including classes in biology, social sciences, physics, chemistry, natural sciences, and math. Pharmacy programs last four years and their classes are designed to teach students about every aspect of drug therapy and how to communicate drug information to the public. Persons studying in this field also learn about business management and public health areas. Professionals working on this sector are required to have a license. This qualification is obtained by having a Pharmacy Degree from an institution approved by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education and passing different examinations.
