Lake Havasu City, AZ
Lake Havasu City is a city in Mohave County, Arizona, United States. According to 2010 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 52,527. This is down from 56,355 in 2006. It is one of many small cities in Arizona that has seen negative growth in recent years. The community first started as an Army Air Corps rest camp during World War II on the shores of Lake Havasu. It is served by Lake Havasu City Airport. While Lake Havasu City is the county's largest city, the 2010 census ranks it third in a list of three distinct areas: 66,268 live in what is classified at the Kingman area, 65,938 in the Bullhead City area and 57,129 in the Lake Havasu City area.
