Sales Executives are in direct contact with company clients. They work to ensure that clients are satisfied, their issues are addressed and their needs are met. They keep in contact with clients by using different telecommunication mediums such as phones, computers and conferencing mediums. Executives are very knowledgeable about the products and services offered by their company.

A Sales Executive usually performs many of the following tasks:

• Addressing customer complaints
• Liaising with suppliers
• Contacting clients
• Attending meetings
• Making presentations
• Going to trade exhibitions
• Reporting on monthly sales
