Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for helping licensed pharmacists to provide customer service, perform administrative duties, and prescribe medications within a pharmacy setting. They also count tablets, label bottles, receive prescription requests, and perform administrative tasks such as stocking shelves, answering phone calls, and operating cash registers. They may work at nursing homes, hospitals, retail companies, among other places.

Pharmacy Technicians usually perform many of the following tasks:
