The job of a Marketing Assistant is an entry level position. This job gives candidates the opportunity to learn and grow in the marketing industry. They work with Marketing Managers and Executives in implementing various marketing strategies. They perform many administrative duties as well.
People who work in this capacity are usually very good at handling numerous responsibilities. They also have good aptitude for sales and marketing. Marketing Assistants receive good remuneration including commissions and bonuses.
A Marketing Assistant usually performs many of the following tasks:
•  Mailing marketing material
•  Liaising with mail houses and print vendors
•  Tracking invoices
• Documenting bill requests
• Conducting market research
