Entry Level Civil Engineering
Entry-Level Civil Engineering specialists are required to manage the routine development of civil engineering construction documents and perform site visits regularly. They assist senior civil engineers in preparing the conceptual and final design and attend meetings with clients to plan design activities. These specialists also write and maintain reports and develop technical drawings using computer-aided design applications such as AutoDesk, AutoCADD, Microstation, among others.
Entry-Level Civil Engineering specialists usually perform many of the following tasks:
• Gathering raw data for arrangement in workable form.
• Performing construction inspection.
• Writing technical reports.
• Helping to develop cost estimates.
• Verifying requests for proposals.
