Copywriters are responsible for creating texts for promotional brochures, advertisements, sales letters, postcards, billboards, catalogs, white papers, or other public relations outlets. They work with the client and other creative members of the staff in order to generate new ideas for campaigns. Sometimes these professionals write press releases for different types of organizations and stories for magazines and newspapers.

Copywriters usually perform many of the following tasks:

Some copy writers also have a marketing background in order to run their own business or just to work as freelancers.
